Dear Flowering Rock Farm Community,

We hope you are enjoying your summer! Right now we are filled with flowers…and with recent welcomed rain..weeds! 😆

Upcoming Event & new friends: We are grateful for our new relationship with Rooted & Gather. We partnered with them this past month for a “Bloom & Brew” and attended their vendor market. On August 15 from 10am-1pm we will be at their 1 year anniversary celebration with our flower bar. Don’t miss it!

Back to School Blooms: New this year, treat your teacher or favorite staff members to fresh flowers as school starts back! Your purchase includes a bouquet, handwritten note, and delivery! For more info and to place your order, visit our online store.

Farm Stand Open Friday – Sunday: We have decided to only open the stand with flowers (& soon eggs!) Friday afternoons through Sunday because our road is still technically closed to non-local/business traffic (I know…it’s been almost 2 years!!) And construction is going to start very soon right by our driveway. If you are not local, I’m more than happy to drop off flowers for pick up at one of our CSA locations: Rooted in Wine (Fairview) or J&M Farms (Hendersonville).

Flower CSA: Our summer CSA has started for our monthly subscribers & ended for July, but we still have room for weekly subscribers for the months of August and September! You can find more information on our website here. The bouquets have been gorgeous this year, plus I throw in some extra stems and fresh herbs 😉

Egg Update: If you didn’t hear already or hear my son share the story, we had an unfortunate visitor at our chicken coop this winter. We lost most of our flock to a bobcat. We were fortunate that several of those chickens laid eggs the days before that we were able to hatch. Just this past week our first pullets started to lay so we are hopeful our egg production will increase in the next 2 weeks and we can have them at the stand again. Thank you for your patience. We have missed selling our eggs to y’all!
