News from Flowering Rock Farm | Nov 2025

Dear Flowering Rock Farm Community,

Thank you for your support this second year! The first frost has come and went, which means our fresh flowers are done for the season. It was wonderful to have a full summer and extended Fall to enjoy this year’s flowers. Luckily, flowers can be enjoyed throughout the winter this year, as we have dried many varieties for our Bloom Collection of dried flower creations.

Farm Stand Open: Our farm stand is still open with our eggs! Plus, great news — our eggs are now only $5 a dozen! We do ask for your support in returning your clean cartons back to the stand to help offset carton costs.

Dried Flowers: We are excited to release our Bloom Collection of dried flower creations to include Bloom Moons, Bloom Hoops, wreaths, pumpkins, and flower crosses. There are limited amounts available as only select flower were grown and dried for these designs. We have enjoyed making these to order but this weekend plan on having most prepared and ready for you to take home at our next pop-up shop at Lured Market in Lake Lure! Stop by Lured-a-Palooza on Saturday, November 8 beginning at 11AM to see us!

Flowers: As previously mentioned, our fresh flowers are done for this year. However, stay tuned for the early release of next summer’s CSA subscription. It’s never too early to purchase a summer subscription for you or your loved ones. It makes a great gift to look forward to flowers every week come summer!

Upcoming Events!

Saturday, November 8 at 11AM: Pop-Up Shop for Lured-a-palooza at Lured Market in Lake Lure. The event will feature live music, vendors, and activities all to support the Bat Cave & Gerton communities in the Hickory Nut Gorge. One of our 2026 summer flower CSA’s and flower pumpkins will be available at the auction!

As always, we’re incredibly grateful for your support as we continue to grow and nurture our farm. If you have any questions or want to subscribe to our newsletter, feel free to reach out. We hope to see you soon!

With love and gratitude,

The Stanfords
