Dear Flowering Rock Farm Community,
Happy Fall! It has been a beautiful fall so far and we are enjoying every minute! We were able to have farm & family pictures taken by Cami Calnan (@camillacalnanphotography). And, we have visited several local farms throughout the area and encourage you to as well. Though we are not able to have visitors, you can find our dried flower pumpkins at J&M Farms in Hendersonville, plus we have an upcoming pumpkin workshop in Fairview so you can create your own!
Farm Stand Open: Our farm stand is still open with our eggs, flowers, and dried flower pumpkins! Still local traffic only but we are happy to meet in Fairview or Hendersonville for deliveries!
Dried Flowers: As the first frost draws near, we are continuing to create products featuring our dried flowers. We are so excited to share our Bloom Hoops and Dried Flower Pumpkins with you! Both feature our dried flowers and are lovely additions to decorate your home for the Fall season and beyond! This past weekend, we had a pop-up shop at Moonshine & Magnolias in Hendersonville, and they were a hit! If you don’t see them at our farm stand, contact us directly to place an order.
Flowers: You can also contact us to order a special arrangement for a loved one or to brighten your table at home. We ask for at least one full day notice to guarantee full, fresh bouquet. Don’t wait though, flowers won’t last much longer as we begin to prepare for winter. We are looking forward to even earlier blooms next year as we overwinter some hardy annuals and perennials.
Upcoming Events!
Saturday, October 18 at 3PM: Dried Flower Pumpkin Workshop at Rooted in Wine. Pre-registration is required and will be available soon at Rootedinwine.com. Limited spots available!
Eggs: Our pullets (young female chickens) that were hatched on our farm earlier this year are now beginning to lay eggs! We are excited that several of them are laying green eggs due to the cross of Olive Eggers and Easter Egger roosters. Reach out directly if you would like to meet to buy eggs or find them at our farm stand.
As always, we’re incredibly grateful for your support as we continue to grow and nurture our farm. If you have any questions or want to subscribe to our newsletter, feel free to reach out. We hope to see you soon!
With love and gratitude,
The Stanfords
