Dear Flowering Rock Farm Community,
Summer flowers are around the corner, and we can’t wait! We have rows filled with sunflowers, celosia, cosmos, zinnias, marigolds, basil, and more! Plus, this year we are looking forward to lots of tomatoes, cucumbers, and other surprises. Here are some more updates from the farm.

Flower Subscriptions CSA: Our flower CSA is almost here! Purchase now to start receiving a weekly bouquet next month! Our flower CSA subscriptions can be purchased at our online store. Printed gift certificates are available to pick up, deliver, mail, or find them locally at Rooted in Wine. Please contact us floweringrockfarmnc@gmail.com with questions!
Farm Stand: Our farm stand continues to be open for locals only because of road closures, but we are excited to serve our local community. Construction on 74A has begun and is expected to continue until 2027. We will have our stand open to local traffic as long as we are able to. Eggs are available, and flowers will be coming any day now! We have just a few plant starts available for sale. All left at the end of the week will be planted and enjoyed later in the summer!
Flower pounding fun! We had the pleasure of attending the AgHC Spring Picnic this past month and provided a flower pounding demo for their guests. It was a great time connecting with other local farmers and agriculture supporters. If you are interested in having a flower pounding workshop, please reach out! It will also be a featured activity at upcoming market events!
Thank you to FVC & Tractor Supply! We were honored to receive one of the Farmer Veteran Coalition Fellowship Fund Grants supported by Tractor Supply! We look forward to using this small grant to help expand our infrastructure for our chickens. They heard the news and are excited too!
As always, we’re incredibly grateful for your support as we continue to grow and nurture our farm. If you have any questions or want to subscribe to our newsletter, feel free to reach out. We hope to see you soon!
With love and gratitude,
The Stanfords
