Composting is a fantastic way to enrich the soil and promote beautiful, healthy flowers in the garden. At Flowering Rock Farm, we have taken a proactive approach to composting by creating a compost pile with the assistance of our chickens. By incorporating their coop waste, such as manure, along with leaf and vegetable/fruit scraps, we are effectively creating nutrient-rich compost. This approach not only minimizes waste but also contributes to the overall well-being of our garden.
